BUFFALO RIVERWORKS ADDS STREET OUTLAW CARS TO WEEKEND RIVER WARRIOR SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Buffalo NY June 16th 2017 – The stage is set for a reality TV show extravaganza when the drag racing cars competing against the Discovery Channel’s Street Outlaws Kamikazee and Dominator roll into Buffalo Riverworks to greet the stars of American Ninja Warrior who are competing in the inaugural River Warrior obstacle course race. Buffalo Riverworks & Kozak Motorsports Marketing will host the Street Outlaws that are competing in the Revenge of 716 v 405 Street Outlaw drag race during the River Warrior obstacle course race at Lancaster National Speedway.
Race fans of any kind know, that when their favorite racer gets behind the wheel of a car or gets set to maneuver through obstacle courses share one goal: Be the fastest and win. Riverworks invites race fans of all type, to not only come out and meet the Ninja Warriors but to get up close and personal with these fire-breathing drag racing cars on display during the Ninja Warrior Meet and Greet on Friday June 23rd 5-10PM.
Last year. Buffalo’s best Street Outlaws showed the Oklahoma-based racers just who is fastest in the 716 on an ⅛ mile. Buffalo Street Outlaws Erin Moran and Doug Vanstrom did the work in the first two rounds by knocking out both Kamikaze Chris and Boosted GT. Since this will be the inaugural River Warrior event we don’t yet know how our local buffalo obstacle course racers will stack up against the TV Stars from American Ninja Warrior.
On Friday June 30th the 405 Street Outlaws return to Lancaster National Speedway for a rematch with the 716 Buffalo Street Outlaws. This grudge match brings something a little extra to the already action packed ⅛ mile Lancaster Friday night drag racing. River Warrior takes place June 22nd to 25th at Buffalo Riverworks and will feature a one of a kind obstacle course race.
In 2016 the Buffalo Street Outlaws proved to the world that they could beat the “fastest street cars in the world” by knocking out the Street Outlaws at Lancaster National Speedway. Now in 2017 it’s up to Buffalo’s obstacle course racers and aspiring ninjas to do the same at River Warrior. About The River Warrior: A mixed-discipline obstacle course that combines elements of Ninja Warrior, Tough Mudder, and Spartan competition to decide the inaugural River Warrior Champion, which comes with a $3,000 grand prize to the winner determined on Sunday June 25th. Thursday and Friday are Family Fun Days where the public is invited to check out the course and even take a run on it for only $10. On Friday Riverworks hosts a special free Meet & Train event where you will have the opportunity to get autographs from your favorite American Ninja Warriors. Train with an American Ninja Warrior for $35 dollars and run the course with ninjas offering their tips and tricks.
