Did this pandemic cause you to feel extra stiff and have tight muscles? Did you ever wonder exactly how you should stretch? Maybe you have tried in the past and you really did not know what to do or maybe you love stretching, but stretching on your own is too boring! Whatever your reason is, this event is perfect for you! Although similar, this is not your traditional yoga class. With this 60min stretch class you will be guided on how to stretch just about every muscle in your body starting from head to toe! Jocelyn will take you through a variety of pain-free stretches you can add to your daily routine as well as educate you to know what exactly you are stretching. All you need to bring is a yoga mat!

Information about your instructor:
Jocelyn is a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant as well as has her Bachelors of Science where she majored in Sport and Exercise Science. Jocelyn has been a Stretch Therapist for 3 1/2 years now and is certified in spin, yoga and LifeStretch. She also has previous experience working as a gymnastics coach, personal trainer and group fitness instructor. Jocelyn participated in many different sports growing up including soccer, track and field, cheerleading, gymnastics and dance. She learned through her education and through athletics the importance of keeping up with your mobility and why stretching should be done every day which is why she decided to create her business called Stretchd Out Buffalo. With SOB, Jocelyn aims to make your life easier by educating and teaching you different ways to stay mobile by offering 30 and 60min one-on-one Assisted Stretch session and stretch classes for all ages and backgrounds!

If you are fully vaccinated, then you are no longer required to wear a facemask on these premises!
If you are not fully vaccinated, then we respectfully request that you continue to wear a face mask while on-site as a participant or guest!
EFFECTIVE MAY 16, 2021 the Center for Disease Control and Prevention have announced that fully vaccinated individuals can resume ALL pre-pandemic activities without the use of a face mask or social distancing protocols, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, rules, and regulations, including local business and workplace guidance”.
Please remain home and continue to abide by CDC recommendations if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, or other viruses or illnesses.
Riverworks will continue to follow all CDC, Local Municipality & NY State guidelines – although NOT mandatory for vaccinated guests, we highly recommend all indoor guests wear a mask prior to entering our facility. At this time it is not required to be vaccinated or show proof of a negative test to enter our facility for any event. (Unless it is mandated by a promoter or agency who has rented the entire facility for a PRIVATE EVENT).
