Climb Buffalo’s Most Iconic Landmark
162+ steps up through the historic Labatt Blue grain silos, and a view of the waterfront you cannot get any other way. The 2026 climb days are over. Guided, about an hour, and completely free.

162+ steps
to the top
You will climb more than 162 steps to the top of the Labatt Blue silos on a guided tour. It is a vigorous stair workout that pays off with panoramic views of the Buffalo waterfront and skyline — the kind of perspective on this city that almost nobody gets to see.
Bring comfortable shoes. Bring a camera.

A landmark
with a story
This is not just a staircase. Along the way your guide shares the history of RiverWorks, the GLF silos, the Buffalo River and the industrial boom that built this city in the early 1900s.
You come back down knowing the waterfront a little better than when you started.
